At Travelling Trunk, we curate limited, rotating designer collections from around the world. Every piece is hand-selected for quality and authenticity, and we want you to love what you purchase. Because of the exclusive nature of our collections, our return policy is slightly different from traditional retailers. Please read carefully before placing your order.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We only accept returns in the following cases:

  • The item arrives damaged or defective (e.g. torn seams, broken zipper, missing embellishments).
  • The wrong item, size, or color was shipped.
  • The item is significantly different from its online description (e.g. major variation in print, style, or design).

Please note:

  • Minor variations in color or texture may occur due to lighting, screen display, or natural materials used. These do not qualify as defects.

Items that do not fit due to size preference are not eligible unless the wrong size was sent. We encourage customers to review our size guides and use our concierge support before purchasing.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Change-of-mind purchases (if you simply don’t like the item).
  • Worn, washed, or altered items.
  • Items without original tags, labels, or packaging.
  • Accessories, jewelry, and intimate wear (for hygiene reasons).
  • Sale, clearance, or final-season items.

3. Return Process

  1. Request a Return:
    • Contact our Customer Care team at [support@travellingtrunk.com] within 7 days of receiving your order.
    • Provide your order number, photos of the item, and details of the issue.
  2. Approval:
    • Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days.
    • If approved, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to return your item.
  3. Return Shipping:
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the error was ours (e.g. wrong item/size sent).
    • We recommend using a tracked courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for lost return parcels.

4. Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you by email.
  • If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 business days.
  • Refund amounts exclude any original shipping fees paid at checkout.

5. Exchanges

  • Due to the limited availability of our collections, direct exchanges are not always possible.
  • If an exchange cannot be made (e.g. item sold out), you will be offered a refund instead.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
  • We will cover return shipping costs and ensure you receive either a replacement or full refund.

7. International Orders

  • Customers outside Singapore are responsible for any customs duties or taxes incurred during the return process.
  • Refunds will be issued in SGD (Singapore Dollars). Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees.

Returns in 3 Easy Steps

We want you to love your Travelling Trunk purchase. If something’s wrong, here’s how returns work:

1. Request

Contact us at support@travellingtrunk.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Send your order number + photos of the issue.

2. Return

If approved, ship the item back in its original packaging. Return shipping is covered if we made a mistake (wrong item/size, defect).

3. Refund or Exchange
